FSU celebrates diversity in its many
forms, therefore, we do not make assignments with regard to race,
creed or national origin. Priority for a housing assignment is
established by the date that the housing agreement is received
in the Housing Office. Since housing accommodations are limited,
it is essential that students return their completed agreement
as soon as possible. Please know that we are unable to guarantee
housing to students. Therefore, choosing to wait to return your
completed agreement may result in not being assigned to a preferred
space, roommate or even the opportunity to reside in campus housing.
Some housing applicants may be placed in temporary accommodations
until a permanent space becomes available.
Acceptance of the Housing Agreement
by University Housing establishes priority for assignment. It does
not guarantee that any specific hall, roommate, or room type can
be satisfied. Special room types are limited and are not found
in every hall.
