Landis Hall is home to students who are members
of the University Honors
Program who desire to live in a supportive environment
for highly motivated students. Landis provides a beautifully
renovated facility, special activities, and the opportunity
to attend an Honors Colloquium inside the residence hall.
If you have accepted an invitation to the University Honors
program and wish to be considered for residency in Landis
Hall, please complete the following steps:
1) Complete the University
Housing Agreement as soon as you are formally
admitted to Florida State University.
2) List Landis Hall as your first preference
on the Housing Agreement.
Helpful Tips:
-
Only students admitted to the University Honors Program
will be given priority assignment to Landis Hall. Contact
the University
Honors Program regarding your eligibility for that
program.
-
If you are admitted to the University Honors Program
AFTER submitting your Housing Agreement, you may access
and update your hall choices to include Landis.
-
Students in the University Honors program are not
required to live in Landis Hall and may select other
hall preferences.
-
While students in the University Honors Program receive
priority assignment to Landis Hall, we are unable to
guarantee an assignment there for all Honors students.
Spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served
basis.
-
While not exclusively reserved for Honors students,
Gilchrist Hall is next door to Landis and many Honors
students choose this as their second preference. Again,
