Cawthon Hall is home to the Women in
Math, Science, and Engineering Program. This program provides support
for women studying science, mathematics, and engineering fields through
faculty interaction, study groups, and peer education. This community
living unit provides access to support networks in these academic
areas by offering role models, advising assistance, and opportunities
for field trips. Students will experience the benefits of living
in a close-knit, supportive community and at the same time be provided
with leadership opportunities and experiences for women in these
fields. The program is open to all female students who plan to major
in any of the physical sciences, mathematics, or engineering fields.
Students interested in receiving information about the WIMSE program
should indicate this on their housing agreement by selecting "yes" to
