Tuition and Fees Due Dates

Tuition and Fees deadline dates are not the same as housing due dates. Please visit the Student Financial Services website for tuition and fees deadline payment due dates.

Summer Term Housing Payment Information

(1) Pay in full no later than the fifth day of classes
(2) Defer for financial aid if there is sufficient aid to cover tuition costs plus total housing charges.

Fall Term/Spring Terms

Assignment Invoices

  • Fall Housing invoices will be mailed to students' permanent addresses starting in early June. This is the only billing statement that students will receive for the fall term.

  • Spring 2010 invoices will be mailed directly to the student's campus address in November. No additional billing statements for the spring term will be mailed from University Housing; therefore, a copy will not be sent to the parents' or the student's home address.

  • Responsibility lies with each student to ensure that accounts are current.

  • Failure to return the invoice by the time specified on the bill may result in the cancellation of the housing assignment, but does not cancel financial responsibility.

Financial Aid Award

Your ability to utilize this payment method depends on the amount of the semester award. Our office will reviewed your estimated award amount and if the award amount is "greater" than the sum of the estimated tuition cost plus the semester housing cost, then you qualify for a deferment. If you qualify for a deferment, we will indicate this payment option on your invoice. If you do not qualify, you must choose another payment option.

Installments

University Housing offers an interest free payment plan that allows the semester fee to be paid in four consecutive monthly payments.

  • Monthly payments will be due on July 1, August1, September 1, and October 1 (Fall Term) and January 1, February 1, March 1, and April 1 (Spring Term).

  • To figure the monthly payment amount:

    • Divide the “Total Charge” at the top of the invoice by 4 (EXAMPLE: Total Charge: $2315 divided by 4 = $578.75 per month)

    • Subtract the “Paid to Date” amount from the FIRST installment payment (ex. “Paid to Date” amount = $225, $578.75- $225.00 = $353.75 for the first payment. Remaining three payments will be $578.75 each)

    • Housing will not send monthly reminders of the outstanding balance.

    • Payments made after the 10 th of each month will result in a $10 late fee. Delinquent installments will be placed on the university-wide accounts receivable system which may result in financial aid being used to make the payment.

  • Installments may be mailed via check or paid online as listed in “Full Payment” instructions above.
