Our university community is very diverse,
and we respect the rights of individuals to make decisions regarding
life-style choices, including the visitation of members of the opposite
gender to their individual rooms. You will be asked to indicate a
visitation preference on your housing agreement. No student will
be assigned to a room with more hours of visitation than requested.
In all facilities, visitation means periodic visits of a guest of the opposite
gender, and does not include cohabitation in a room, suite, or apartment.
Self-Regulated -
Visitation by members of the opposite gender is determined by mutual
agreement between roommates at the beginning of the year, or whenever
occupancy changes.
Limited Visitation -
Members of the opposite gender are only allowed to be in private
and public areas of the floor (excluding bathrooms) during the following
hours: 11 a.m. - midnight Sunday - Thursday, 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Friday
- Saturday.
ANY - Selection of this option
permits assignment to any of the visitation option areas.
