Administrative Staff

The adminstrative staff supports the efforts of
the maintenance and custodial staff. Their focus is on data base
management of work orders, personnel records and payroll, and inventory
reports.

Maintenance Program
- At Florida State we take pride in our facilities.
To help FSU Housing maintain the residence hall facilities and the
furniture each hall has a maintenance mechanic who takes care of
routine maintenance in and around the hall.

Custodial Program
- A Hall Manager is assigned to each residence hall.
The Hall Manager supervises a custodial staff responsible to handle
the day to day care and cleaning of each facility .
Weekday Service
- Throughout each week, the Hall Staff maintains
the public areas of the residence hall including corridors, lounges,
recreation rooms, kitchens, guest restrooms, and offices. Also, the
staff is responsible for the community baths in Deviney, Dorman,
Kellum, and Smith Halls.
Weekend Service
- On the weekends, a Hall Manager and members of
the custodial staff from halls across campus will visit each building
on Saturday and Sunday. During their visit they will remove the trash
from the offices, and empty the trash cans in public areas as well
as the community style restrooms. They also spot check for incidences
that occurred over the weekend.
